To help spread the word about North Shore Restaurant Month, staff members from Chicago’s North Shore Convention and Visitors Bureau will be visiting different North Shore coffee shops throughout the month treating customers to complimentary cups of Joe. First up, to launch the month-long dining event, is free coffee at Evanston’s Cupitol on Thursday, January 31. Other coffee giveaways include Glencoe’s Hometown Coffee on Thursday, February 7, Northbrook’s Leonides on Thursday, February 14, and Glenview’s Glenview Grind on Thursday, February 21.  Complimentary cups of coffee will be available from 8 am to 9 am at each location.

“Everyone is welcome to enjoy the special dining discounts and promotions offered through North Shore Restaurant Month, whether they live on the North Shore or not,” says Speckman. “While most communities offer a ‘Restaurant Week,’ ours is a full month to give people plenty of time to try something new or visit an old favorite,” she continues. “Many have told us that they plan their calendar around it, visiting several restaurants for lunch or dinner each week. And, with these offers and discounts, North Shore Restaurant Month is the perfect time to do it!”
